A Poem by Hugh Tribbey

EASY IS THE DAWN

Easy is the dawn,
a sig.ra it sings it;
the payment me
during the years lower
than the vistas,
until that you did not see
the child of To,
down under the plan
in order to be based
in the starter shaft of
cables of blast and pressure
from small to the lower part
has transported, same it feet
of a nut/mother outside,
that smiles while it sings.
[Babel translation of D. H. Lawrence’s "Piano," first stanza]
